    MARCH ENTERTAINMENT ROUND-UP

A week of annual leave should have meant I was out seeing the world, and to a certain extent, I saw more of Manchester and ventured into Didsbury for a morning, so that was something. However the afternoons/evenings I was home, I watched so many dramas that I feel like I exist solely for Channel 5 dramas at this point. I’ll be honest, I expected them to all be a little so-so but they definitely surpassed my mid-range expectations.

Adolescence was brilliant, although as much as Stephen Graham’s breakdown in his son’s room had me sobbing, the ending was too abrupt for me, am I the only one that thought this? However, all the awards for SG please.

This month my reading list has been pretty small, I just haven’t had the motivation to sit down and actually read and I’ve been walking everywhere leaving little time to read on the bus, however I did use the majority of my Spotify audiobook hours on First Time Caller by BK Borison which was bloody marvellous, 1000% up my street and a world I want to live in. Now if The Works can please restock the sprayed edge version of the book so I can buy it for my never ending bookshelf, I’d be thrilled.

I’ve had Teddy Swims on repeat for a portion of the month, I saw him live a few weeks ago with complimentary tickets, and whilst I didn’t know an awful lot before I went, I’d be good to go for another tour now! He’s sublime, you must binge-listen if you haven’t already. I’ve also had another Table Manners binge this month, listening to the most incredible episodes with Tom Jones, Guy Garvey, Robbie Williams, Paul & Mary McCartney and Sam Fender, must must must listen if you haven’t already! Lastly, I’ve binge listened to Still Hungover by Ella Langley again, I swear that album gets better with every listen. Please tour the UK, Ella!
